According to the Latin america collection, Panama has a population of about 1.1 million people living in the island. The island is boarder by both the Caribbean sea and the North Pacific Ocean between Costa Rica and Colombia.Most of the people in Panama Mainly speaks Spanish but they also speak English which  14% of the population does.Panama's government statues is a Constitutional  Republic which according to the wiki this type of government with a head of state and representatives selected by the people which is basically a democracy with some limitations.

Costa Rica 

According to Britannica, Costa Rica is considered the most stable and democratic government in central america. Costa Rica is also a very peaceful country and is committed to protecting human rights for their people. In Costa Rica people also have their main language as Spanish. Costa Rica is located in the caribbean and is right next to Panama.
